EQUINE REPRODUCTION SERVICES PRICING 2025 

I(all prices are inc GST)

ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION

- Frozen semen: $770 for the first cycle, $605 for subsequent cycles- Chilled/Fresh Semen/Live Cover: $660 for the first cycle, $495 for subsequent cycles 
Please note that the per cycle fee includes: 
   *All ultrasound examinations and up to 3 pregnancy scans 
   *Routine reproductive drugs (eg prostaglandin, deslorelin, oxytocin) 
   *One post insemination lavage 
   *One post insemination antibiotic infusion
   *One uterine swab (per season)
   

It does not include: 
    *Non-routine reproductive drugs (eg Regumate, Steroid Treatment, Oral Antibiotics)
    *Sedation (if required)
    *Subsequent uterine swabs (if required)
    *Subsequent uterine treatments (if required)
    *Agistment
   *Twin reduction 
   *Caslicks (if required)

EMBRYO TRANSFER

*Please note there are strictly limited places available for embryo transfer, so please ensure you contact us before the season to secure a place for your mare
*We believe success rates reduce dramatically in the extreme heat of perth summer, so the last donor insemination is the 12/12/25
*Recipients must be returned in good body condition, with feet trimmed, no earlier than the last week of August of the year following weaning of your foal

 COSTS:
   *Per cycle breeding (fresh/chilled/frozen) - $650 (cycles 1 & 2), $500 (cycle 3 - if no pregnancy achieved in cycles 1 & 2)
   *Recipient set-up fee - $1000 (cycles 1 & 2), $800 (cycle 3 - if no pregnancy achieved in cycles 1 & 2)
   *Embryo Flush - $500
   *Embryo Transfer (per embryo) - $600
   *Transfer success fee (payable on 14 day positive pregnancy test) - $500
   *Success Fee (payable on 45 day positive pregnancy test) - $2200

SUMMARY OF COSTS (exc agistment and semen costs):
   *Pregnancy achieved on first cycle - total cost of pregnancy $5450
   *Pregnancy achieved on cycle 2 - total cost of pregnancy $7600
   *Pregnancy achieved on cycle 3 - total cost of pregnancy $9400

FOALING DOWN

- $825 (includes a post natal exam and IgG)
- Must be booked in prior to start of season as there is limited availability- Only for mares due by 31st October

STALLION SERVICES

- Semen collection and evaluation: from $495- Collect and freeze semen: contact the clinic for pricing
- Semen storage: Initial transfer $55, then $18.50 per month- Handling of stallions for live cover: $250- Training stallions to the mount: contact the clinic for pricing
